This month’s positive point shares how a couple broke a pattern of handling conflict.
With the ongoing isolation due to COVID-19, they had a pattern of handling conflict that was making them feel bad about their relationship.
They shared with me how proud they were of themselves for using the communication tools they learned by working with me.
One of them said to me, “Now that we can get along being isolated for weeks and weeks, I’m confident we can handle anything.”
It’s amazing what new information can do for a relationship. We all do the best we can in our relationships, but it’s when we gain new information and apply it that positive changes occur.
