My husband has decorated the outside of our house for 30 years. He said he doesn’t want to do it anymore. He’s tired of dealing with the lights. I love how our house looks all lit up. I’m so disappointed. It’s been such a tradition. How do I get him to keep doing it?
I think your husband is pretty awesome for having decorated your home for 30 years. I know it’s hard to let go of a tradition, especially for the holidays. See if you and he can agree on a new tradition. It may be a simpler, down-sized version, but still beautiful. Sometimes less can be more!
