Has your Spouse’s Christmas Spirit Changed?

This month’s Ask Coach Kathy is about couples who find their spouse’s or mate’s Christmas spirit has changed.

My husband has decorated the outside of our house for 30 years. He said he doesn’t want to do it anymore. He’s tired of dealing with the lights. I love how our house looks all lit up. I’m so disappointed. It’s been such a tradition. How do I get him to keep doing it?

I think your husband is pretty awesome for having decorated your home for 30 years. I know it’s hard to let go of a tradition, especially for the holidays. See if you and he can agree on a new tradition. It may be a simpler, down-sized version, but still beautiful. Sometimes less can be more!
