With Valentine’s Day tomorrow, I am really stumped as to what to do for my wife. If I bring home another box of candy, I think she’ll throw it at me. Help!
Okay, if you really want to knock her socks off, spend the rest of the time you’re with her today and some of tomorrow and record each time you notice your wife doing something “right” or positive. Make a detailed list that includes each thing you notice about her.
The definition of romance is “You matter to me.” Sometimes in a relationship, one or the other or both people get so caught up in daily life that neither feels “seen.” In other words, the person or people can begin to feel invisible. Not a great feeling at all.
Hand your wife a piece of paper with everything listed on it that you noticed she does to contribute to your life together, how beautiful she looks, how kind she is to others, etc. Pay attention and you may be surprised that you have to reach for an extra sheet of paper!
