Once in a great while you meet someone who is so incredibly talented at his or her craft that you feel motivated to spread the word. For me, that “word” has to do with the craftsmanship of Wes Airgood, the owner of Wanderlust Jewelers. Wes, and his wife, Heather, have a jewelry design studio in Little Italy in Cleveland, Ohio, above Presti’s.
For those of you getting engaged, married, or celebrating an anniversary, and wanting to create a ring or rings that are unique and one-of-a-kind, I encourage you to investigate Wanderlust Jewelers. Wes works hand-in-hand with you in designing the ring that represents exactly your style and your dream. He creates original pieces, rebuilds and repairs existing ones, and can even re-imagine sentimental or valuable pieces that are currently outdated or not able to be worn, so they can be reclaimed and enjoyed for years to come.
Last year, our son, Dave, wanted to create an engagement ring for his girlfriend, Mary, that was simple, beautiful, and had meaning. Wes used a diamond from a necklace that belonged to my mother and turned it into a lovely, simple design. For Mary’s wedding ring, he used diamonds from Mary’s grandmother’s wedding ring and designed Mary’s wedding ring so that it hugged her engagement ring perfectly.
