A couple I worked with this past year has a tradition that makes everyone in their family feel like he or she matters. On each person’s birthday, the members of this family say why they love the family member who is celebrating the birthday. It’s been a long-standing tradition and most likely will be a legacy each child will pass along to his or her family someday.
