Relationship tools can work across generations.
This month’s positive point occurred when one of my clients asked if I would be open to her referring her daughter to me for coaching because her daughter is having challenges in the relationship with her boyfriend. This client, the mom, told me she and her husband learned valuable communication tools in our work together, and she felt her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend would benefit from those same tools.
Over the years, many parents have referred their adult children to me and many adult children with whom I’ve worked have referred their parents to me. It’s very fun to watch the tools and skills I teach be utilized by different generations in the same family!
